Vacuum Drum Dryers
Description
- Vacuum enclosed systems are highly effective when products must be dried without exposure to high temperatures or reactive atmospheres
- Can be designed for sterile operations
- Can achieve continuous drying without breaking the vacuum by utilizing a variety of airlock configurations, such as two receivers and air locks
- Feed for single drum is usually pan type with pump and spreading device or spray film for materials that are repelled by contact with heated surfaces
- Double drum dryers use pendulum or perforated tube feed
- Special feed devices are also available
- Strict quality control procedures ensure high quality output
- Can handle any customer specifications
- Standard drum sizes range from 15.2 cm diameter x 20.3 cm long to 1.5 m diameter x 3.7 m long (6" x 8" to 60" x 144")
- Mechanical support skids are available for vacuum drum dryers
