Description

Vacuum enclosed systems are highly effective when products must be dried without exposure to high temperatures or reactive atmospheres
Can be designed for sterile operations
Can achieve continuous drying without breaking the vacuum by utilizing a variety of airlock configurations, such as two receivers and air locks
Feed for single drum is usually pan type with pump and spreading device or spray film for materials that are repelled by contact with heated surfaces
Double drum dryers use pendulum or perforated tube feed
Special feed devices are also available

Standard drum sizes range from 15.2 cm diameter x 20.3 cm long to 1.5 m diameter x 3.7 m long (6" x 8" to 60" x 144")
